Betsy E. Graham, 79, of Keokuk, IA, died Friday, May 30, 2008 at her home. She was born on March 21, 1929 in Hull, IL, the daughter of John and Jane Moore Taylor. On January 31, 1947, Betsy was united in marriage to Joseph Junior Graham in Keokuk. He preceded her in death on May 6, 2001. Betsy graduated from the St. Louis Catholic Academy. She had been employed at Artistic Cleaners in Keokuk and retired in 1991. She was a loving mother and grandmother and cherished the times she spent with her family and friends. Betsy is survived by two daughters, Belinda Harrison and her husband Bob of Keokuk, IA, Jenny Karr and her husband Jerry of Keokuk, IA, one son, Jack Graham and his wife Nancy of Arizona, five grandchildren, Wendy Hammel, Julie Thomas, Cindy Heitman, Jon Harrison and Joe Graham, five great-grandchildren, Haleigh Hammel, Brett Hammel, Drake Hammel, Joshua Pollitt and Bella Thomas. She was also preceded in death by her mother, Jane Grout, her father John Taylor and one sister Hannah Ruth Taylor. A private family graveside service was held at the Keokuk National Cemetery in Keokuk. Memorials may be made to the Keokuk Area Hospital Cardiac Rehab Department in care of Renee Kull or Nancy Newberry.
