Barbara Ellen Massey, 78 of Warsaw, IL died Friday, April 8, 2016 at the Montebello HealthCare Center. She was born April 1, 1938 in Hamilton, IL the daughter of Merle and Ada Evermon Glines. On December 24, 1956 she was united in marriage to Raymond Massey in Keokuk. He survives. Other survivors include three sons, Michael Massey of Warsaw, IL, Randy Massey (Kathy) of Maroa, IL and Rex Massey (Julie) of Dyersville, IA, three grandchildren, Allyson Bruhn Tyson Massey and Regan Massey and one great-grandchild, Trae Bruhn. She was preceded in death by six brothers, John, Lester, Lloyd, Wayne, Ralph and Kenneth Glines and one sister, Betty Roth. Barbara graduated from the Hamilton High School in Hamilton, IL. She had been employed by Methode Electronics in Carthage IL as an inspector for eight years until her retirement in 1999. She was a member of Faith Assembly of God Church in Hamilton, IL. Barbara loved to spend time tracking her genealogy. She was gifted in quilting and baking and created beautiful wedding and birthday cakes. A graveside service was held at 11 a.m., Monday, April 11, 2016 at the Oakwood Cemetery in Hamilton, IL with Reverend Brett Laszlo officiating. Memorials may be made to Blessing Hospice.
