Barbara Jane "Bobbi" Edlen Blackburn, 50, of Keokuk, IA, died Sunday April 28, 2013 unexpectedly at her home. She was born on June 4, 1962 in Keokuk, the daughter of Jack and Nancy Roller Edlen. She first married Mark LeMaster and they later divorced. She then married Jim Blackburn and they also later divorced. She graduated from Revere C-3High School in Revere, MO with the Class of 1980 and attended Southeastern Community College in Keokuk, IA. She had been employed as a cook at several area restaurants and had worked at Methode in Carthage, IL. She later worked at the Dial Corporation in Ft. Madison and retired due to poor health. She attended the Bible Baptist Church in Kahoka, MO. Bobbi enjoyed making crafts and painting pictures. She also enjoyed the adventure of going to the Casino. Bobbi raised her two children in Keokuk and was very proud of both of them. She loved talking about all of her children's accomplishments. She enjoyed watching her son play football for the Keokuk Chiefs and recently had been working very hard on her daughter's upcoming wedding in May. In her short life, Bobbi had the opportunity to live in California, Alaska, Florida and Aruba. She is survived by her son, Anthony Charles LeMaster of Marshalltown, IA, her daughter, Andria Jane LeMaster and her fiancé Anthony Gilman of Keokuk,her parents, Jack and Nancy Edlen of Kahoka, MO, one sister, Cindy Morse and her husband Bill of Kahoka, nieces, April and Jeremy Johnson of Montrose, Danelle & Jim Sutterfield of Kahoka and Jessica and Jeremiah Justice of Wayland, nephews, Kyle and Lindsy Swindler and Keane and Kimberly Morrison all of Kahoka, great nieces and nephews, Ethan Kelley, Gunther & Abbi Johnson all of Montrose, Tianna Smith, Cashtyn Sutterfield and Olivia Swindler all of Kahoka, Hali Justice of Wayland, many aunts, uncles and cousins, and her special pets. She was preceded in death by one son in infancy, Ryan Harold LeMaster, grandparents, Harold & Louise Edlen and Noble and Vivian Roller, uncles, Jim Boatman , Tony Roller and David Kephart, aunt, Susan Redding and cousin Kari Wright. Funeral services were held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, May 1st, 2013 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka with Pastor Tim Roller officiating. Burial was in the Kahoka City cemetery, Kahoka, MO In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
