April Jacobson

April Jacobson 55 of Ft. Madison passed away Saturday, May 25, 2024 at the Blessing Hospital in Quincy, IL.

She was born June 11, 1968 the daughter of Larry Batley and Sheena Stephenson. On February 2, 2001 she was united in marriage to Robert Jacobson. He survives.

She is also survived by her father, Larry Batley, three children, Aimee Hanson, Ben Hanson and Chey Smith, seven grandchildren, Alaiyna, Addilyn, Oliyver, Variyck, Kaiyzen, Maddiyx, and Christopher. She is also survived by her siblings, Roberta Batley, Tim Batley and Aimee Vance, three nieces, Michealla Batley, Alexis Hill and Brittany Loter, seven nephews, Brice Batley, Matthew Batley, Joseph Batley, William Batley, Dakota Jacobson, Devin Woodworth and Noah Woodworth.

She was preceded in death by her mother, maternal and paternal grandparents, uncles and a nephew and a great nephew.

April loved to go to Nascar races and rodeos. She enjoyed doing crafts and coloring in her spare time. Most of all she loved spending time with her family.

Visitation was held from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. Wednesday at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk with the family meeting friends at that time.
