Anthony D. Jackson, 27, of Ft. Madison, IA died Friday, March 26, 2010 at his home.
He was born on March 6, 1983 in Keokuk, Iowa, the son of Patty Jackson.
Tony graduated from Central Lee High School with the Class of 2001. He was currently attending Southeastern Community College.
Tony was employed at Interfab in Ottumwa, IA and later at Dresser Rand in Burlington, IA as a welder.
He was a member of the Burlington Masonic Lodge, the Boilermakers Union Local #443 and the Steelworkers Union.
Tony loved to hunt, fish and be around his family and friends. He was always the highlight of the holidays. He also enjoyed bluegrass, jazz and country music, singing karaoke and writing music.
Tony is survived by his mother, Patty Jackson of Ft. Madison, IA, grandparents, Victor and Donna Riddle of Montrose, IA, and Lois Jackson of Albuquerque, NM, three aunts, Paula Burke and her special friend Ernest Justice of Keokuk, IA, Pam Daggs and her husband Matt of LaGrange, MO and Carman Jackson of Nauvoo, IL, two uncles, Nick Jackson of Davenport, IA and Michael Jackson of Keokuk, IA, five cousins, Carly Jackson, Channon Daggs, Ryan Daggs, Jeremy Harris and Dylan Burke, and many friends including a special friend Shana Martinez and her son Jaydon.
He was preceded in death by grandfather, C.M. Jackson and great grandparents, Carl and Neleene Teller and C.C. and Neola Jackson.
Memorial services were held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, April 1at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA with Bro Bill Hauser officiating. Burial was in the Sandusky Cemetery, Sandusky, IA.
