Amanda Elizabeth Kellum, 20, of Keokuk, IA died Sunday, October 12, 2008 at the Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, IA.
She was born on August 9, 1988 in Phoenix, AZ the daughter of Keith and Sandy Sikes Heberer. On August 23, 2004 Amanda was united in marriage to Kenneth Kellum. He survives.
Other survivors include a son Kolton Kellum of the home, her mother and step father, Sandy and James Jernigan of Keokuk, IA, her father, Keith Heberer and Penny Barnes of Keokuk, IA, one sister, Tricia Heberer of Keokuk, IA, her grandparents, Linda and Harold Ferguson of Wayland, MO, Loyd and Barb Sikes of Oregon, and Earl and Minnie Gordon of Oregon, father-in-law and mother-in-law, Kevin and Chris Kellum of Keokuk, IA and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her great grandparents and an Aunt Debbie Varner.
Amanda was a full time student at Southeastern Community College in Keokuk, IA. She was member of the New Bethel Church in Keokuk, IA.
She enjoyed Nascar, doing crafts, being outdoors and camping, animals of all kinds especially horses, and being with her family and friends.
She was a loving mother and cherished the time she spent with her son, Kolton.
Funeral services were held at 1 P.M. Wednesday, October 15 at the New Bethel Church in Keokuk, IA with Pastor Debra Letcher and Pastor Ronnie Braggs officiating. Burial was in the Oakland Cemetery, Keokuk, IA.
