Allen Clifford Martin, 64, of Keokuk, IA, died Monday, October 16, 2017 at his home. He was born on October 28, 1952 in Keokuk, IA the son of Wayne and Virginia Parsons Martin. On May 26, 2007 he was united in marriage to Theresa Martin in Keokuk, Iowa. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Melinda Martin of Keokuk, IA, Cassandra Feehan and her husband Joshua of Keokuk, IA and one son, Nathan Martin and his wife Kimberly of Hamilton, IL, a stepdaughter, Bobbi Bragg of Glasgow, KY, six grandchildren, a great granddaughter and a sister Shirley Kelly of Keokuk, IA. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Wayne Martin. He graduated from Keokuk High School. Following his graduation he enlisted in The United States Army and proudly served during Vietnam. Allen had been employed with Montebello Senior Care as maintenance supervisor until his retirement in 2016. He enjoyed taking pictures, fishing, camping, gardening, golfing, and skiing. He especially loved music and was in several bands. He was currently the lead guitarist for Fatty Lumpkin. Most of all he loved his family and spending time with them. Funeral services were held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA. Burial with military rites were in the Keokuk National Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Musicians Memorial.
