Alice Mae Mason, 60 of Bowling Green, MO died Wednesday, October 14, 2015 at St. Mary's Hospital in Mexico, MO. She was born May 22, 1955 in Keokuk, the daughter of Herman and Susie Pennington Mason. Alice cherished the time she spent with her children and grandchildren. She loved to be outdoors fishing, camping with her family and taking walks by the river and enjoying the scenery while feeding the ducks. She is survived by four daughters, Tammy ( Jamie) Blair of Monroe City, MO, Colettea (Dab) Crowell of Keokuk, Savannah Chacon (Korey Preston) of Mexico, MO and Nancy Chacon of Hannibal, MO, two sons, Angel Chacon of Miami, FL and Nathan Chacon of Bowling Green, MO, six grandchildren, Torrell Hawkins,Jr, Antanet Hawkins, James Crowell, Betty Crowell, Brandon Preston and Sabrina (Jake) Kalb, two great-grandchildren, Torrell Hawkins III and Aubrey Kalb, six brothers, Frank (Cindy) Mason of Keokuk, Oscar (Jen) Mason of Mount Pleasant, IA, Terry (Michelle) Mason of Argyle, IA, Stanley Mason of Keosauqua, IA, Jimmy (Anna) Mason of Keokuk and Rodney Mason or Drakesville, two sisters, Vickie (Tony) Bakalar of Oskaloosa, IA and Linda Guymon of Keokuk and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Darrell and Trell and one sister, Nancy Pyewell. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Oakland Cemetery in Keokuk with Pastor Dan Davis officiating. There will be no visitation.
