Alice Marie Boyle, 88, of Keokuk, IA died Tuesday, November 15, 2005 at the River Hills Village in Keokuk, IA. She was born on July 13, 1917 in Keokuk, IA the daughter of Herbert G. and Mary E. Masterson Stephenson. On May 8, 1937 Alice was united in marriage to Bernard I. Boyle in Keokuk, IA. He preceded her in death on February 22, 1994. Alice was a faithful member of the First Baptist Church in Keokuk, IA. She was a loving mother and grandmother and had been devoted in caring for her family. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy and she loved to spend time with them. She is survived by one daughter, Mary Jo Bowles and her husband Gary of Keokuk, IA, and one son, Daniel L. Boyle and his wife Sharon of Lemon Grove, CA., five grandchildren, LeeAnn Groene and her husband Rick, Lynn Bowles, Deanna Grimaldi and her husband Tony, Patrick Boyle and his wife Tonya, and Timothy Boyle, five great grandchildren, Matthew and Megan Groene, Britney LeBeau, Scott Grimaldi, and Tyler Boyle. She was also preceded by an infant son, two sisters and three brothers. Funeral services were held at 10:30 A.M. Saturday, November 19, at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA with Rev. Dale Thomas officiating. Burial was in the Oakland Cemetery, Keokuk, IA. A Memorial was established for the First Baptist Church in Keokuk.
