Ada Myrtle Agnes Campbell, 90, of Kahoka, Missouri died Friday, February 9, 2007 at the Clark County Nursing Home in Kahoka, Missouri. She was born March 21, 1916 in Clark County, Missouri, the daughter of Larry and Agnes Hines Hayden. On June 26, 1935 she married Howard "Shorty" Campbell in Kahoka, Missouri. He preceded her in death on July 2, 1980. Ada graduated from Wayland High School in 1933. She worked at North End Grocery Store for many years and then for Home Health Care. She was a beloved mother, grandmother and sister. Her home was open to anyone needing help or was hungry. Her smile and pleasant ways made her a friend to all who knew her. Survivors include one son Robert "Bobby" Campbell of Wayland, Missouri, three grandsons, Sam Mitchell, Robin Wood and Michael Wood, granddaughter, Stephanie Edgington, great grandchildren. Lani, Health and Jaclyn Wood, Brandon Wood, Wesley and Leah Wood, Andrew, Mandy and Sara Mitchell, Dillion, Nicholas and Gordy Norton, Brennen, Braydon and Breanna Paar, two sisters Annie and Bessie Schreck of Wayland, MO, a sister in law Madonna Perry and many nieces, nephews and friends. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Shirley Thomas and Linda Mitchell, grandson James Wood, granddaughter Sally Paar and a great grandchild Karmen Michelle Shuman Wood. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 12 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka, Missouri with Reverend Dick Clifford officiating. Burial will be in the Kahoka Cemetery in Kahoka, Missouri. Visitation will be held after 3 p.m. Sunday with family meeting with friends from 5 – 7 p.m. at the funeral home.
