Norma Gibson, 69, of Hamilton, IL, died Wednesday, March 28, 2012 at the Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, IA. She was born on September 24, 1942 in Keokuk, IA, the daughter of Raymond and Fern Schneider Grisham. She married Harold Gibson and he preceded her in death. Norma had been employed at Methode in Carthage, IL for fourteen years, retiring in 2006. She was a member of the First Christian Church of Keokuk. Norma had a wonderful talent for making jewelry and creating unique sweatshirts with different decorations. She enjoyed fishing and listening to country music and religious music. Norma had several favorite shows she liked to watch on television including Little House on the Prairie and Andy Griffith. Her sons and granddaughter were the pride and joy of her life and she treasured the time she was able to spend with them. She is survived by two sons, Tony Gibson and Randy Gibson both of Springfield, MO, one granddaughter, Jennifer Michelle Dailing and her husband Kenton of Springfield, MO, one brother, Donald Grisham of Illinois, one sister, Susie Osterloh of Hamilton, IL, her step-father, Don Worrell of Kahoka, MO, three aunts, Shirley Breakbill of Keokuk, IA, Betty Oloman and her husband Glenn of Burlington, IA and Francene Kite of West Point, IA, a very special friend, Robert Radel of Keokuk, nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Tommy Lee Grisham in infancy and Raymond Grisham, Jr. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Saturday March 31, 2012 at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA with Lee Ourth and Reverend David Turner officiating. Burial was in the Oakwood Cemetery, Hamilton, IL. Memorials may be made to the First Christian Church of Keokuk, IA.
