Margaret R. Holsinger, 93 of Hamilton, IL died Monday, August 22, 2011 at the Montebello HealthCare Center in Hamilton, IL. She was born December 27, 1917 in Chicago, IL the daughter of Ralph Alexander and Florence Purdy McPheeters. On May 16, 1942 Margaret was united in marriage to Frederick John Holsinger. He preceded her in death on September 4, 1994. Margaret was a member of All Saints Catholic Church in Keokuk, IA. She is survived by three sons, John R. Holsinger and his wife Lorraine of Hackensack, NJ, James F. Holsinger and his wife Kathy of Hamilton, IL and Michael A. Holsinger and his wife Sue of Cary NC, one daughter, Mary Sue Blank and her husband Brian of Cary, NC, ten granddaughters, Melissa Holsinger and her husband J.P. Anderson of Brooklyn, NY, Valerie Holsinger of Hackensack, NJ, Lisa Curran and her husband David of Wake Forrest, NC, Molly Froidl and her husband Tom of Columbia, MO, Kathryn Nigh and her husband Brad of Lexington, KY, Anne Holsinger of Arlington, VA, Ann Forsberg and her husband Chris of Atlanta, GA, Amy Holsinger of Cary, NC, Maggie Holsinger of Cary, NC and Mary Steinhofer of Atlanta, GA, three grandsons, David Holsinger and his wife Erin of Berkley, CA, Brian Cameron of Miami, FL and David Cameron of Orlando, FL and one sister, Jane Duhig of La Grange, IL. She was also preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Ralph McPheeters and Tom McPheeters and one sister, Mary Ellen Grieshaber. Funeral services were held 10 a.m. Thursday, August 25, 2011 at the St. Elizabeth Roman Catholic Church in Wyckoff, New Jersey. Burial will be in the Valleau Cemetery, Ridgewood, New Jersey. Memorials may be made to the Keokuk Area Hospital Foundation.
