Diane Kay Dennis, 46, of Warsaw, IL, died Thursday, March 9, 2006 at the University of Iowa Hospital in Iowa City, IA. She was born on November 22, 1959 in Grundy Center, Iowa, the daughter of Byrl and Bernice DeGraff Dodd. On June 30, 1984, she was united in marriage to Tim Dennis at the Bel Air Baptist Church in Keokuk, IA. He survives. She is also survived by three children, Matthew, Jenna and Aliana Dennis all of Warsaw, IL, her mother, Bernice Dodd of Dike, IA, three brothers, Duane Dodd and his wife Kathy of Milford, IA, Daryl Dodd and his wife Amy of Anaconda, MT, Dennis Dodd and his wife Jane of Dike, IA, her father-in-law, Russell Dennis of Warsaw, IL, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father and her mother-in-law, Virginia Dennis. Diane graduated from Dike Community High School in Dike, IA with the Class of 1978. She graduated from Dordt College in Souix Center, IA, in 1982. She had been employed at the Keokuk Area Hospital in Keokuk, IA for twenty five years, working in the laboratory as the Chemistry Supervisor. Diane was a faithful and active member of the Bel Air Baptist Church where she served as the organist. She enjoyed participating in 4-H activities with her children and riding horses. Diane was a loving wife and mother and was devoted to caring for her family. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m., Monday, March 13 at the Bel Air Baptist Church in Keokuk, IA with Pastor Mike McMillan and Pastor Matt Ooms officiating. Burial will be in the Oakland Cemetery in Warsaw, IL. Visitation will be held after 2 p.m., Sunday at the Vigen Memorial Home in Keokuk, IA with the family meeting with friends from 4 – 6 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Dennis Children's Fund which has been established at the Hill Dodge Banking Co., 501 Main, Warsaw, IL.
