Obituary for Hazel J. Randle

Hazel J. Randle, 85, of Canton, MO, died Friday, April 26, 2019 at the Lewis County Nursing Home in Canton.

She was born on March 26, 1934 in Kahoka, MO, the daughter of Elizabeth Bowen.
On October 14, 1989 Hazel was united in marriage to Charles “Bill” Randle in Perry, Missouri. He preceded her in death on April 8, 2006.

Hazel worked as a certified nurse’s aide; with 4 of those years being at the Clark County Nursing Home.

She is survived by two sons, Melvin Bishop of Hays, VA and Walter Bishop (Lucy) of South Fulton, TN, step children, Carl Randle (Gayle) of Lewistown, MO, William Randle (Marilyn) of Richamond, MO and Janet Elder of Baring, MO, four grandchildren, Lisa Bisese of Lincoln, AL, Larry Randle (Michele) of Wyaconda, Christina Holder (Brandon) of LaGrange, and Evelyn Hendricks (Tyler) of Lewistown, six great grandchildren, a great great grandchild, two sisters, Joy Helen Kemper of Montrose, IA and Jackie Kuda (Bill) of Perry, MO, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

Besides her husband she was also preceded in death by her mother, a son in infancy, Micheal Randle, her sister Betty Black, her brother William Bowen and a niece, Elizabeth “Sally” Shepherd.

Graveside services were held 2 p.m. Thursday, May 2, at the Kahoka Cemetery in Kahoka.

Visitation was held an hour prior to the graveside service at the Vigen Memorial Home in Kahoka with the family meeting with friends from 1 – 2 p.m.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made the Police Memorial Fund.
